Find Your CIMIS/AgriMet Station

There are CIMIS weather stations throughout California and AgriMet stations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and montana. The CIMIS stations are geographically categorized into four major regions or districts (Northern, Central, San Joaquin and Southern). To find which CIMIS district close to you, use the large California map. By clicking on your region in California, one of the four district maps will be displayed in detail. Now select the CIMIS weather station nearest you by clicking on the appropriate number. Wateright will remember this weather station, and carry this information throughout your irrigation schedule session when you select "Use this CIMIS station".

You can fine tune your schedule by entering an adjustment value. This will normally be 100; however, you may need to adjust your watering for micro-climates.  For example, less water is required for shaded areas.  The value could be set at 80%. This would instruct wateright to reduce estimated times by 20%. Values are shown in percent.  100 percent = no adjustment.  Entering a value greater than 100% will result in additional watering time.  Typical values for the adjustment are from 80 to 120 (80 = less water, 120 = more water).

Once you have your weather station, enter the number of starts per week you want to have and then click the 'Schedule' Button.
