Starts/Week: How many times the sprinklers will be run per week. For example: if the sprinklers are run two times per day on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday then starts/week = 6 (2 x 3).
Type of Grass: Different grasses will use different amounts of water. Bluegrass is a cool season grass, Bermuda grass is a warm season grass. If you are unsure of which grass type to choose, then select cool season (which uses more water) to insure adequate irrigation.
Start Day of the Week: Wateright will generate a schedule. You can control what day of the week the schedule period starts.
Schedule Period: Wateright will summarize daily information into one, two, or four week intervals.
Adjustment: If you want to fine tune the schedule you may change the adjustment value. Often you will need to adjust your watering for micro-climates. For example, less water is required for shaded areas. Values are shown in percent. 100 percent = no adjustment. Entering a value greater than 100% will result in additional watering time. Typical values for the adjustment are from 80 to 120 (80 = less water, 120 = more water).
